Kenadee was born on December 30, 2009..what seems like forever ago! We were in the NICU for a while and Mercy Hospital was, and continues to be, our home away from home. It was about 6 months later that we learned Kenadee was sick. She started to not meet milestones, have seizures, and choke a lot when she drank. LOTS of specialists appointments, three surgeries, many ER visits, and tons of prayers later...we know more today. Our little Kenadee suffers from a rare genetic disease that affects all of her little body. Little did we know, we would very soon become an advocate for Kenadee's disease and embark upon a journey that would change our lives forever.
